About Me: I am an internal consultant within Health and Human Services for the State of Texas. I primarily do agenda design and execution of facilitation for in-house workgroups and external multiple stakeholder meetings providing input and making decisons about Texas sevices for the aged and developmentally disabled. I also do private facilitation engagements and volunteer for many community engagements and national issue events. My background is in Humanistic psychology/psychotherapy, management training and development, organizational development, systems "thinking," coaching, and facilitation. I have been involved locally with Conversation Cafe and the study of dialogic forms of communication; as well as community development and neighborhood planning. Also do project management and process improvement in role of internal consultant.
My Interest Areas: Facilitation, promoting NCDD-- using all "streams" of civic engagement, dialogue, human transformation, culture change, gender issues and evolutionary psychology, framing and work of Jonathan Haidt.
