NCDD Contest for Artists
NCDD is holding a contest for artists interested in creating a simple two-dimensional image or design (artwork, a logo, a photo, etc.) to represent its 2004 National Conference on Dialogue & Deliberation, which will be held October 23-26, 2004 in Denver, Colorado.
We have three goals for this contest: (1) to inspire the creation of a quality image that reflects the principles of dialogue & deliberation, and the 2004 conference in general, (2) to increase awareness of the conference among artists who are involved in dialogue & deliberation, and (3) to support an artist who is interested in attending the conference.
The artist whose work is selected to represent the conference (in the printed conference booklet, on the website and perhaps in future materials) will have their expenses paid to attend the conference - registration fee, post-conference training fee, lodging and flight - plus a $300 stipend.
We encourage artists who are interested and/or involved in dialogue and deliberation to submit a .jpeg or .gif image to us by Friday, July 30. Selections will be made by August 15. Please email Leah Lamb at with your image or any questions you may have.
