Schedule for the 2006 National Conference on Dialogue & Deliberation
A note about how we?ve designed the plenary sessions?
Our plenary sessions at the 2006 conference will borrow principles and practices from a variety of dialogue and deliberation methods. Among other approaches, we will be borrowing from Appreciative Inquiry, Future Search, 21st Century Town Meeting, World Café, and Inquiry Circle. As much as possible, we will share with the group which aspects of the plenary sessions were inspired by which methods, and why we chose to use those approaches. We hope that this strategy will help conference participants learn about numerous models while gaining insight into organizing multi-process programs.
