hello from Massachusetts...

Well, i've spent much of this evening reading the messages on this forum, and responding as i find points of connection... so i figure it might be time to introduce myself a bit more formally!

My name is Rosa Zubizarreta... i have recently moved to Massachusetts from California, where i 'd been living the last 20 years... i'm very happy to have moved, as i moved here to marry my sweetheart...

At the same time, i'm also sad that i won't be able to attend the conference this year, given all of the major changes the move has involved...

Anyway, i know the conference will be wonderful, and wish all of you who will be attending, all the best...

As far as my own work goes, i work as an organization development consultant, helping catalyze greater collaboration by working with existing challenges and conflicts in ways that help generate more understanding and creativity...

I enjoy working with the public sector as well as with private organizations... and especially, with community projects that bring together people who have passionate differences of perspective...

I sometimes refer to the work i do as "practical dialogue", and it has been greatly influenced by Dynamic Facilitation, Focusing, and Transformative Education...

And, i love to write about the potential i see for the dialogue and deliberation movement, and what some 'next steps' in that movement might be... see
