Amy Middleton, Programming Coordinator, is pursuing an MSc in Health Promotion at the University of Alberta; her thesis research examines ideologies of good and healthy mothers in health promotion programmes. She has undergraduate degrees in Philosophy (Wilfrid Laurier University) and Health Studies (York University). Prior to beginning with PHEN in 2004, Amy worked in sport and recreation and with the YWCA of Edmonton. When not working or studying, she€™s usually trying to motivate herself to get out for a swim, bike or run. |
