Full Name: David Collier
NCDD Member Since: Aug. 4, 2006
Contact For: American Values Are, LLC.
My Work
Organization Name: American Values Are, LLC.
Title / Position: Lead Researcher
Description: American Values Are, LLC was formed to provide non-partisan discussion guides that would further civic education and civic engagement, recognizing that responsible citizens are the core foundation of our democratic system. Our guides are designed to facilitate dialogue about what it means to be an American, and to energize more Americans to be engaged in shaping and interacting with their own government. Through dialogue we hope to help citizens find common ground and minimize the partisan debate that divides and demoralizes us. Relationships that build on a shared sense of community are a true value for any democracy.
Other Organizations: David is also a contact for NCDD organizational member "The Communications Center, Inc," which formed in 2003 to assist individuals, businesses, and other organizations in building and improving communications skills. They emphasize skills that help promote understanding of different interests, concerns, perspectives, and issues that lead to the peaceable and productive resolution of conflicts at work, at home, and in the community.
