Description: |
Deborah has recently piloted a dialogue project for youth between the ages of 18-25 from five countries: Cyprus, Denmark, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States. In preparation for Rockrose Institute's World Forum on Justice, Religion and Conflict Resolution in 2007, the yearlong program prepared 36 youth to dialogue on some of the world's most critical questions particularly having to do with violence in the name of justice and religion. The Youth Dialogue Project program began in November 2006 from these corners of the world, convened at the World Forum in San Francisco in February, 2007, and ended in September 2007. RockRose supports, promotes and advances nonviolent conflict resolution through education, improved communication and a deeper understanding of justice. The Institute seeks to fulfill its mission by supporting public forums for interdisciplinary dialogue and training in communication skills. |
