Jan Elliott Ph.D. is Co-creator of the Fielding Graduate University program Dialogue, Deliberation and Public Engagement, an innovative program designed to broaden the base of scholar practitioners working in public engagement. A Senior Associate with the Public Policy Forum, a Canadian independent non-profit organization devoted to promoting excellence in government through dialogue among sectors and citizens, her work involves creating balanced forums for multisectoral engagement. As a scholar practitioner, her work is dedicated to expanding public deliberation and dialogue practices to create a more robust democracy. She actively promotes/develops deliberative processes involving citizens and creates connections to governance and decision-makers. |
