Julie Graves is currently working on her doctoral dissertation in Educational Psychology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her study is a mixed qualitative and quantitative assessment of heterosexual adults' identities and attitudes related to social issues surrounding homosexuality througout participation in a community-based dialogue series. Julie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado, and prior to pursuing her PhD, has worked for 15 years as a therapist and counselor for youth, families, and groups mostly in community-based agencies. Julie's psychotherapeutic specialization was in adventure-based counseling. She also served as Graduate Faculty for Prescott College's masters degree program in Adventure Based Psychotherapy for seven years.
