My first posting and live URL musings

Hey folks,
I just posted to the global group and I found that I could not insert a live URL link into the posting.
I'm wondering out loud for my first blog entry if live URLs will be possible to our group postings in the future or not?
It looks like I can add a link here in my blog (try this link for example -- although I don't yet understand how to open a new window when you click on it) but we can't yet link URLs to our group postings (can anyone else try and confirm?)

But overall I am very happy with the new NCDDnetwork! And its another good reason to be a continuing member of NCDD!

Hi there, John. I'm glad you like the new Members Network. It definitely has some limitations, but overall I think it's a great thing for our members.

Unfortunately at this point there is no way to make links in comments active links. I tried using html to see if that would work, and it didn't.

Perhaps in the future there will be an update to the software that includes that functionality. In the meantime, hopefully people can just cut and paste links into new tabs/windows.

Hey - you should add a blog post about Initiative 24, John! People would be interested in hearing about that.
