Laura Chasin is the founder and former director of the Public Conversations Project, an organization that promotes constructive conversations and relationships among people who have differing values, world views, and perspectives about divisive public issues. She brings to this role a background in political science, social work, psychodrama, and family systems therapy. She was a co-facilitator of the dialogue between Boston area pro-choice and pro-life leaders. She has written many articles about her work and published in a variety of publications, including the Boston Globe and The Christian Science Monitor.
