About Me: Myriam Laberge, M.A., Certified Professional Facilitator, is an organization and community development consultant who has worked in the private, public and social profit sectors. Since 1990, she has designed and facilitated several hundred sessions in a variety of settings, helping groups from 5 to 350 to release extraordinary creativity, power and alignment, through whole scale change processes, community deliberative dialogues, world cafes, open space sessions, dialogue inquiry, peer dialogue circles, and many other methods. Part-time, as a Director of Collaborative Learning & Innovation at Simon Fraser University�s Centre for Sustainable Community Development (www.sfu.ca/cscd/cli), Myriam designs and leads Executive Development programs on multi-stakeholder dialogue, facilitation, design, and engagement.

Description: My private practice in facilitation, organization, and community development is primarily carried out under the auspices of Breakthroughs Unlimited Inc., Organization Transformation Services. With my colleague Ann Svendsen, I am a Principal at Corelation Consulting Inc. where we offer customized executive training programs on multi-stakeholder engagement, and consult on stakeholder strategy. Since 2000, we have designed and led executive programs at Simon Fraser University on co-creative stakeholder engagement, and are also offering similar training for Boston College's Center for Corporate Citizenship. My most exciting new venture is with my colleague Brenda Chaddock of Odyssey Leadership Consulting - we just launched our new program, Engaging Organization and Communities for Wise Action/Lasting Impact in July 2007 - how to convene, design and facilitate meaningful conversations around complex issues
