I love conversations of discovery. I have studied mechanical engineering, economics, and communication. I am a pagan and a Quaker. I am particularly interested in the art of explaining scientific ideas to nonscientists, as they are often poorly understood in political and legal discussions. I am currently retired and involved in various community activities. When I was working, one long-term assignment involved being a sort of facilitator-liaison-project-planner to work with 2 departments (scientific staff & computer staff) to improve CA�s air quality monitoring database. I have also facilitated a couple of mediations. |
