President of Corder/Thompson & Associates, Mary Thompson is a mediator, facilitator and trainer based in Austin, Texas. Ms. Thompson offers training programs in the areas of basic and advanced mediation skills, mediation ethics, dialogue processes, and group facilitation. She has designed and facilitated dialogue and decision-making forums on topics which include strategic planning, partnering, team relationships, regional planning, organizational mergers, conflict management and public policy development. Ms. Thompson has served as the Ethics Chair for the Training Section of the Association for Conflict Resolution, on the Council for the State Bar of Texas ADR Section and on the Texas Mediator Credentialing Committee. She is a founding member of the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable. She served as head of the Trainers’ Resource Project for the Association for Conflict Resolution and serves on the Editorial Board of the State Bar of Texas ADR Section newsletter.
