| About Me: |
Im currently a Masters student (in statistics). I plan to complete an interdisciplinary PhD at Colorado State University which focuses on adult education, speech communication and program evaluation. I am interested in community organizing and other means to train low-income and minority community members in the skills needed to become powerful and engaged civic leaders who advocate in the public square on behalf of their communities. I currently chair the board of a grassroots organization engaged in civic leadership development. Prior to my interest in civic engagement, I worked for 12 years in the insurance industry. |
