About Me: Sean Nolon is the Director of the Land Use Law Center at Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York, where he is also an adjunct professor. Mr. Nolon trains local officials, environmentalists, and developers in land use law and consensus building techniques, provides strategic assistance to local governments and intermunicipal councils, and mediates land use disputes. Mr. Nolon has taught a law school seminar on conflict resolution and land use law and coordinates the Land Use Conflicts Externship. Mr. Nolon sits on the Board of the New York Planning Federation and the Westchester Municipal Planning Federation and is an Associate Director of the Westchester County Soil and Water Conservation District. He is also a certified mediator and arbitrator in Westchester County. Prior to joining the Center in 1999, Mr. Nolon litigated environmental, land use, and commercial coverage matters. Mr. Nolon received his J.D. degree, with honors, from Pace University School of Law and his B.S. from Cornell University. Mr. Nolon lives in New York€™s Westchester County with his wife and their two sons.
