| About Me: |
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York and although I have lived in San Diego, Miami and now Seattle, I know that you can "take me out of Brooklyn, but can't get Brooklyn out of me!" My passion is urban ecology which had led me to work in many arenas: teaching in public school, working in non-profits and currently in City government. My current work is in social/environmental justice, sustainability, watershed restoration, and multicultural community engagement, dialogue, education, and outreach. I love learning about new and collaborative approaches in these areas,as well as leading with the heart, the arts, and intergenerational projects. |
