About Me: |
Ben Simon is a student organizer at the University of Maryland, College Park. He has been involved in the deliberative democracy and Web 2.0 movements since Summer 2009 when he began conceiving the MyAmerica.gov proposal. This site would radically transform American democracy by introducing a citizen-to-representative online space for convenient and gratifying public deliberation. By giving voice to the American people, MyAmerica.gov hopes to counteract the undue influence of special interests and party whips to usher in a new era of democracy, Democracy 2.0. Ben is actively looking for collaborators, especially
those with web development experience. |
