Brian Sullivan is the founder of Practical Evolution, LLC. He is the developer of CivicEvolution - an online initiative that uses goal driven, structured dialogue to empower citizens to take an active role in the decision making process. He is currently working with Dr. Janette Hartz-Karp to create self managed online citizen engagements in Australia on issues of sustainability and government reform.
Practical Evolution, LLC develops and hosts CivicEvolution.org as both a free, nonpartisan public utility for citizen activists and as an engagement platform for organizations seeking better constituent engagement.
I am currently running an online dialogue for the NCDD Austin planning team at civicevolution.org.
I am co-facilitating a pre-conference workshop the day before the 2008 NCDD conference begins in Austin. The workshop is entitled "Choosing Deliberation and Dialogue Techniques that Work."
