Organization Name: |
Center for Voter Deliberation of Northern Virginia
|
Description: |
The Center for Voter Deliberation of Northern Virginia works to educate people on the importance of participation in political life, and to involve community youth in that effort. The Center is manager and, alongside several community organizations, a co-sponsor of Deliberation Falls Church City (DFCCVA.org), a public deliberation effort. We are interested in working with other communities in Northern Virginia to carry out public deliberations on topics of critical local concern. The Center is an affiliate of the National Issues Forums network. Its founders are Bill Corbett and Beth Offenbacker, who are long-time Northern Virginians and public policy professionals. |
