Cynthia M. Gibson, Ph.D., is an independent consultant who works with a wide range of foundations and nonprofits in need of strategic planning and program development, research, communications, positioning, and marketing. Previously, she served as a program officer for Carnegie Corporation of New York, overseeing the youth civic engagement and nonprofit sector portfolios. She has also worked as a senior staff member for several national public policy organizations and writes/speaks regularly on nonprofit strategy, citizenship, education, philanthropy and social policy. She is also a senior fellow at Tufts University's Tisch College for Public Service and Citizenship.
It is an independent firm specializing in public policy research and analysis, program development, strategic planning, marketing and communications for nonprofits and philanthropic institutions.
