About Me: |
Elena Fagotto is a Senior Research Associate at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. She is currently researching under what circumstances deliberation becomes an embedded practice within communities and organizations, and the connections between deliberation and public action. She has conducted in depth analyses of different models of public deliberation including: citizen participation in resource allocation in Minnesota; public forums in West Virginia; Indigenous models of dialogue and deliberation in South Dakota; policy-makers use of deliberative approaches in Hawaii and British Columbia; community conversations about public education in Connecticut; and Study Circles in Kansas. |
