About Me: |
John Stephens has coordinated the Public Dispute Resolution program at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Government since 1996. He teaches NC government officials on public participation, collaboration and dispute resolution. John is author of the Guidebook to Public Dispute Resolution in North Carolina (2004) and is co-author of Reaching for Higher Ground in Conflict Resolution (Jossey-Bass, 2000). John has done extensive consulting with the United Methodist Church on dialogues related to homosexuality and denominational policies. He has a Ph.D. from George Mason University's Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution. |
