Kaliya currently works in with technologists on emergence of a new layer of the web for people (user-centric identity). She co-produces and facilitates the Internet Identity Workshop the main gathering of the Identity Commons. She has successfully adapted facilitation methods to meet technical communities. Through her work in this field she has become skilled emerging collaboration and web tools wiki's, photo sharing, social networks, blogs and their application in professional contexts. She is interested in the intersection between face-to-face dialogue in communities of practice and online.
