In 1993, Linda Mather, Ed.D. founded Beacon Consulting Associates to help improve communications for corporate, non-profit, community, and public sector clients and to help them achieve better results.
Linda is a communications consultant, facilitator, and trainer specializing in group dynamics, facilitation, boardsmansship and leadership. She is professional facilitator, professional assessor, and global process manager certified by the International Association of Facilitators. Linda has more than 30 years of experience in education, nonprofits, and government.
With extensive expertise facilitating meetings on controversial community issues, Linda provides a safe environment for people to discuss their diverse views. As founding executive director of Forums Institute for Public Policy, Linda facilitated the New Jersey Policy Forums on Health and Medical Care for more than 10 years.
She served as Interim Dean at William Paterson University and as associate director at the New Jersey Department of Higher Education. She has also consulted for the Kellogg Foundation, the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and the Board Member Institute. She holds a doctorate in education from the University of Pennsylvania.
