Michael Briand, 54, was the Senior Fellow of the Institute on the Common Good at Regis University and Director of the Center for Democratic Dialogue and Deliberation. He is a principal in the consulting firm, PublicKnowledge and an Associate of the Charles F. Kettering Foundation. Recently he was appointed Book and Articles Review Editor of the Journal of Public Deliberation, and he will serve as Editor-in-Chief of the soon-to-be-launched International Journal of Public Participation.
