Marc-Andre concentrates his work on democratic governance institutions and mechanisms for conflict prevention. In this capacity he manages the projects on democratic dialogue which systematizes and shares knowledge on democratic dialogue promotes a community of practice and delivers support to COs through the Support Network. He also manages the project on political analysis and short term scenarios. Additionally, he develops regional projects and initiatives on particular institutions, such as parliaments, and in particular areas or sectors, such as small arms and the security sector. Marc-Andre also serves as focal point for conflict prevention issues in the Bureau through which he provides feedback to COs on conflict prevention initiatives and promotes experience sharing between them.
