Marti Roach, Senior Partner with CSF, has focused her work on helping hundreds of non-profit and public organizations thrive. Her passion is to help organizations addressing social inequities and championing efforts for social and environmental justice. Marti has a strong background in non-profit management and fund development, and played a central role for over two decades in the growth and development of Bay Area Community Resources, a San Francisco Bay Area regional provider of youth development and mental health services. Marti serves as a Board Member of the Community Benefit Organization of the East Bay and Crabgrass, a non-profit focused on supporting citizen-led non-violent social change. She currently works with many non-profit and public organizations as an organizational development consultant, facilitator and trainer. Marti is a mentor trainer in the Institute of Cultural Affairs ToP® Facilitation Methods (TFM), is a participant in the Bay Area World Cafe Community and a member of the local chapter of the Society for Organizational Learning. She has an MSW from the University of Michigan that honed her community organizing skills. She earned her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) Credential in 1985.
The Center for Strategic Facilitation (CSF) is a partnership of consultants in the San Francisco Bay Area experienced in training, facilitation and organizational development. CSF is committed to expanding the use of participatory approaches and methods by individuals, organizations and communities. It is affiliated with The Institute of Cultural Affairs and a core methodology utilized is the ICA-developed Technology of Participation (ToP®).
