Nancy Roberts is a Professor of Defense Analysis and Co-Director of the CORE Lab in the Department of Defense Analysis, and Professor of Strategic Management in the Graduate School of Business and Public Policy at The Naval Postgraduate School. She is interested in direct citizen participation, collborative governance, problem solving networks, coping with wicked problems, policy entrepreneurship and innovation. Roberts is a former assistant professor of Organization Behavior at the University of Minnesota and has been a visiting professor of Organization Behavior at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University and Santa Clara University. Her research spans a wide range of topics, including peace operations, social entrepreneurship, collaborations, leadership, organizational change, and policy entrepreneurship and innovation. She is editor of the book The Transformative Power of Dialogue with Elsevier and editor of the book The Age of Direct Citizen Participation with M.E. Sharpe.
