Description: |
The National Coalition for Dialogue & Deliberation (NCDD) is an active network of over 1,240 organizations and professionals from across the U.S. and over a dozen other countries. Our members engage and mobilize people around today's most challenging issues across partisan, ethnic and other divides.
NCDD was formed in 2002 in response to a growing need for learning and collaboration among those who do dialogue, deliberation, conflict resolution and public engagement work in a variety of disciplines (public policy, humanities, social work, communications, education, etc.). Our national and regional conferences, online programs and resources, and numerous collaborative projects provide opportunities for members of NCDD and the greater dialogue and deliberation community to share knowledge, collaborate, and build relationships for the purpose of strengthening each other’s work.
The NCDD website offers literally thousands of resources, opportunities, news, and best practices, and we keep in touch monthly with 20,000 people in the public engagement and conflict resolution fields. |
