About Me: |
Susan Clark is an educator and facilitator, focusing on community sustainability and civic participation. She is the co-author, with University of Vermont professor Frank Bryan, of the book "All Those In Favor: Rediscovering the Secrets of Town Meeting and Community." Susan has taught Community Development at the college level for over ten years. An editor, writer, and award-winning radio commentator, she is an advocate of public dialogue and deliberation. Susan¹s work with rural Vermonters strengthening communities has included directing a community activists¹ network, facilitating town visioning forums, and coordinating a rural grants program. In 2008, her interest in local governance inspired her to conduct a three-month comparative study tour of the Swiss town meeting system. Susan lives with her family in Middlesex, Vermont, where she serves as Town Moderator. |
