Virginia Dorgan has been the Executive Director of Network for Peace through Dialogue since 1994. With volunteer Board Member Peggy Ray, she also coordinates the on-line Dialogue Program entitled Shaping Our Future, as well as our Living Room Dialogue series. She brings to her work two masters degrees, one in Mathematics and the other in Urban Affairs/Policy Analysis as well as many years working in the field of education on the secondary and college levels.
The Network for Peace through Dialogue increases the skills and practice of dialogue, thereby expanding the respect for difference necessary for making peace among people. Such exchanges contribute to a broader and deeper understanding of others and the acquisition of non-violent patterns of behavior.
