Compassionate Listening Project to Hold First Annual Gathering

The Compassionate Listening Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals to heal polarization and build bridges between people, communities and nations in conflict, is organizing its first annual gathering of friends of the Project. The gathering will be held August 13-15, 2004 at Camp Brotherhood, a beautiful retreat center one hour north of Seattle, Washington. This will be a weekend of community, ritual and relaxation, and all are welcome - no prior experience with the Compassionate Listening Project is necessary. Click below for more details.
The Compassionate Listening community has taken this work in many directions over the past seven years. This is an opportunity to learn from one another, to vision and create new opportunities, drink deeply from the well of spirit and community, and strengthen this rich network.
We will schedule presentations of our current projects, however the bulk of our time together will be co-created according to your interests and desires using the Open Space model: teach a class; learn how to start and maintain a practice group; hold a discussion; lead a ritual; birth a new project; build your skills; dance and sing...all is welcome at the Open Space marketplace!
Registration is $185 for camping or bunk houses or $240 for lodges and cabins.
