News about Fielding's Certificate Program in D&D and Public Engagement

Fielding Graduate University's graduate level Certificate Program in Dialogue, Deliberation & Public Engagement (now in its second year) starts on August 29, 2005 and runs through January 17, 2006. I received an email today about a conference call on June 8 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern for those interested in learning about the program and getting their questions answered directly from the faculty. To register for the teleconference, email Debra Arviso, Program Coordinator in Fielding's School of Human and Organization Development, at [email protected]. Click below for more details and participants' comments on the first certificate program.
Here is what participants in the first course had to say:
"Participating in the Certificate Program was a rewarding experience.
Working with the stellar faculty and student colleagues face-to-face and on-line was rich and intellectually stimulating. There was plenty of interaction that enhanced the learning. I highly recommend the Certificate Program for professionals who are committed to improving their effectiveness in communication."
"The DDP certificate program is exceptional; it combines the intellectual rigor of high quality faculty and guest scholar/ practitioners with opportunities for practical application of models for dialogue and deliberation in your own practice settings."
"Taking the Fielding Dialogue, Deliberation, and Public Engagement course was one of the best opportunities I have had as a young practitioner in the D&D field. Not only did I benefit from the core curriculum, I think we all learned the most from the stellar faculty, as well as the experienced and passionate students the course attracts."
