Conference on the American Dream Coming Up in Washington, DC

On September 27, 2005 the Fetzer Institute, in partnership with The Faith & Politics Institute, The Center for the Study of the Presidency, and Jossey-Bass Publishers is holding a conference celebrating public conversation, titled "Deepening the American Dream: Reflections on the Inner Life and Spirit of Democracy" in Washington DC. Participae in this free event from 9 am to 4 pm at the National Press Club Ballroom. Join 12 leading authors as they discuss the nature and impact of the American Dream in the 21st century. Participating authors include David Abshire, Carolyn Brown, Betty Sue Flowers, Charles Gibbs, Vincent Harding, Robert Inchausti, Carolyn Lukensmeyer, Jacob Needleman, Parker Palmer, Abdul Aziz Said, Huston Smith, and Doug Tanner.
